Details: Rich African roots have influenced cultural legacies throughout the Americas for centuries. From beats like Bakosó in Cuba and Bomba in Puerto Rico to stories like Latinegras and Decade of Fire, this panel discussion, curated by artists, storytellers, and organizers, will highlight and celebrate the Afro-Latinx narrative.
