Just before August ends, fresh summer cinema arrives! Tony, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, Michael Mann’s Manhunter, Remake, and more fresh films are now showing in our historic theatres. Oh, and in case you thought you were missing out, Spiderman: Brand New Day and The Odyssey are still going strong!

Join us for Board Member Christopher M. Novoa’s pick Almost Famous 8/22 at 7 PM. Kick off our 70mm series with 2001: A Space Odyssey screening 8/28 at 7 PM. We wouldn’t start September at the cinema off without a bang… join us for Akira 4K Remaster starting 9/4.

One of the best things about being Milwaukee Film is we can show film on film. ESPECIALLY 70mm. We’re the only cinema in the city (and 1 of less than 20 in the country!) that can do it year-round, and this August we’re doing it big time. Come watch a week’s worth of masterpieces on 70mm in the most beautiful theatre in the world, exhibited with care by our dedicated projectionist team.

Milwaukee Film is bringing masterpieces from international auteurs to the big screen where you can beat the heat and then get back to the fun all summer long.
