News #MFF2019 Day Five: The Milwaukee Show

Opening weekend of #MFF2019 was so jam-packed with fantastic films and exciting events that we're just going to take things easy today. JUST KIDDING. We've still got eleven more days of the Festival to go and each one is just as great as the last. Tonight, we have one of our favorite programs of the entire Festival - The Milwaukee Show! This selection of shorts highlights the works of local artists with each film having its own distinct style. 

 

 

Films shown in the program include:

• Cool Beans directed by Michael DiMilo
• Exposure directed by Kiran Vedula, Cody LaPlant, and Damien Blue
• Garden City Beautiful directed by Ben Balcom
• Last Will directed by Lindsey Bangsberg
• Ms. Hart's School for Young Women directed by Ella Freigang
• My Love, Ethiopia (Yene Fikir, Ethiopia) directed by Gabrielle Tesfaye
• We Were Hardly More Than Children directed by Cecelia Condit
• Winter Cranes directed by Joe Brown

 

The show starts at 7:30 PM at The Oriental Theatre, so come out and show your support for these incredibly talented local artists! After the screening, head next door to Landmark Lanes for the Cream City After Party where you can receive drink deals all night long if you present a ticket for The Milwaukee Show!

 

Tickets for today's screening can be purchased at any of our Festival box office locations starting one hour before the venue's first screening.
