Monos

A group of child soldiers hold an American hostage on top of a remote mountain in this thriller. When the group is attacked they must relocate, making it obvious that despite their machine guns this young group are still children in a very adult world. This festival favorite and Colombia's submission for Best International Feature Film Academy Award is a Lord of the Flies for a new generation, examining childhood and violence, and questioning who really are villains and who are victims.
