Chasing Chasing Amy

Milwaukee Film Festival

It's 1997 and a Kevin Smith movie is about to change Sav Rodgers' life. CHASING CHASING AMY explores the transformational impact of a 90s rom-com on a 12-year-old kid from Kansas who is coming of age and contending with queer identity. As Rodgers examines the cult classic CHASING AMY and its implications for LGBTQ+ cinema, he finds himself at a complicated crossroads that somehow culminates in a heart-warming rom-com of a documentary.

- Following the 4/21 and 4/22 screenings there will be a Q&A with Sav Rodgers (director, producer), Riley Rodgers (producer)
