Girl Dads: Defining Tender Masculinity

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 10,  6 p.m.

Onscreen depictions of masculinity tend to flatten the male experience--men often characterized as brooding insensitive figures whose maleness prevents them from forming lasting intimate bonds with others.  This discussion provides an alternative image of what non-toxic masculinity looks like, putting in conversation prominent local Black men who discuss fatherhood’s joys and the importance of being positive examples, particularly for their daughters.
