Accessibility Policy
Milwaukee Film is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming experience for all guests, customers, and users, both in our theaters and online. We strive to ensure that our offerings—whether live events, venues, or digital platforms—are accessible to everyone.
Our website has been designed with best practices for accessibility front of mind. Our goal is to align with generally recognized accessibility standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), where feasible, as we are committed to making our website and digital content accessible to the widest possible audience. This includes but is not limited to:
- Improving screen reader compatibility
- Providing alternative text for images
- Enhancing keyboard navigation and readability
For more information about venue accessibility, visit our Venue Accessibility page. Availability of specific accommodations may vary by location or event. (e.g. Hearing loop technology is currently available at the Oriental Theatre but not yet at the Downer Theatre.)
We encourage guests to contact us in advance with questions about accommodation needs or requests. If you would like to reserve a seat for a specific showtime due to accessibility needs, please reach out in advance to the theatre directly so we can best support you:
• Oriental Theatre: (414) 276-5140
• Downer Theatre: (414) 962-3120
Accessibility is an ongoing priority and evolving process. We value feedback from our community and view it as an important part of expanding access. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions, please let us know! We regularly review our policies, practices, and facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and to better serve all audiences.
