Planned Giving

Your Cinematic Legacy

Planned giving is a meaningful way to support Milwaukee Film’s mission while planning for your own future. It allows you to make a meaningful, long-term gift that reflects your values and creates a lasting impact.

These gifts, such as bequests, beneficiary designations, or charitable trusts, ensure that future generations will see the best films from around world in the historic theaters you love, while often providing financial or tax benefits to donors and loved ones.

Gifts of every size make a significant impact, and most planned gifts are revocable, meaning you can change them at any time. Planned giving is also for everyone. You don’t need to be wealthy to make a planned gift. Many options, such as including Milwaukee Film in your will, cost nothing today and can be updated as circumstances change.

You also have flexible options. You can decide when and how your gift will be used, e.g. for specific programming (the Milwaukee Film Festival, specialty year-round screenings, organ performances), a specific theater, or urgent needs.

We encourage you to consult with your financial or legal advisor first to ensure your plans align with personal, family, and financial goals. We also welcome the opportunity to answer questions or discuss options that align with your values.
