Description
At a pristine resort on the outskirts of Manila, 17-year-old tee-girl Isabel tries to return a mislaid golf club to the club president, discovering sinister revelations about her workplace, its elite members, and her own past. Winner of the World Cinema Dramatic Jury Award for Creative Vision at Sundance this year, FILIPIÑANA is "An incisive, slow-burning satire of capitalism and powerful men with far too much hubris—basically, a story for our times." (Aisha Harris, NPR)
