Science on Screen!

Join us for a screening of Juno preceded by a talk from Mia Noel, of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. When Juno came out in theaters in 2007, the teen pregnancy rate in Milwaukee was twice as high as it is today, so what has changed in 10 years? Mia Noel will present information on the variety of approaches undertaken to reduce teen pregnancy rates, changes in health education, scientific advances in contraception, and where we can do better! Here’s what you need to know about teen pregnancy today!

An initiative of the Coolidge Corner Theatre. With major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
