Young people with rare and complex diseases, like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), are often dismissed by the medical system, misdiagnosed with psychological disorders, or denied care due to their complexity. COMPLICATED follows their fight for recognition, the risks their families take to get them help, and the hope they find through self-advocacy and groundbreaking research.
