In celebration of indigenous stories and Native American culture, we'll be bringing you special screenings as part of Native American Heritage Month! Help us kick off this series on Nov. 2 with a special title from the 2019 Milwaukee Film Festival! We can't announce that title just yet, but know that it will be a stunner.

Victor and Thomas leave the reservation to retrieve Victor's father's ashes, while also finding themselves and resolving past traumas in this critically-acclaimed classic.

Presented by Terrence Malick, this haunting and visually arresting documentary follows Rob Brown, a Native American gang leader on a remote Minnesota reservation sentenced to jail for the fifth time. He must now confront his role in bringing violent drug culture into his beloved Ojibwe community.
