WE DID IT! We've surpassed our $10 million goal in the capital campaign goal to help restore the historic Oriental Theatre and provide us with an operating reserve! $10,030,229, to be specific. The campaign was initiated in 2017, meaning we managed this massive number in under two years time!

Want to hear our gratitude with the CEO filter switched on? Take it away JoJack Bossman:

“We are grateful for the enormous amount of support given by the Milwaukee community. Accomplishing this campaign in such an accelerated timespan speaks not only to the tireless effort of our team, but also to the passion of donors and audiences. “I’m humbled at the investment so many people have made in our organization. We’ve always had an ambitious vision for what Milwaukee Film can become, and we’ve made incredible strides in meeting some pretty big goals. The commitment of all of our supporters, and particularly the generosity of our lead donors in this campaign, shows me we can dream even bigger and do more within our community.”
- Jonathan Jackson, CEO & Artistic Director

With support from over 900 contributors, this capital campaign truly took a village. Bur special thank yous to lead donors Chris Abele; Donald and Donna Baumgartner; Herzfeld Foundation; the Sheldon and Marianne Lubar Charitable Fund; Allan H. (Bud) and Suzanne L.
