The exuberant Sonia Warshawski is a little lady with a big personality. She’s a businesswoman, a community sage, and a Holocaust survivor. While trying to keep her late husband’s tailor shop afloat amidst a nearly empty mall, she doles out life lessons (Soniaisms) and shares her harrowing survivor’s story.

One of this year’s most charming documentaries, _Big Sonia_ has taken home a number of festival prizes, including the Audience _and_ Jury Award for Best Documentary at the Napa Valley Film Festival. The film is a testament to Sonia’s strength and humor, as well as the generosity it takes to share your world and wisdom with your community.
