Scenes From The Glittering World

CCF2021

Three Indigenous youth on the fringes of Navajo Nation deal with the myriad issues confronting them - isolation (filmed at the most remote high school in the continental United States) and uncertainty butting heads with their ambitious goals. An elegiac portrait of a community in existential crisis, SCENES FROM THE GLITTERING WORLD is a gorgeously rendered documentary portrait of youth on the margins, as tradition wilts in the face of apathy and a rapidly changing culture.
