The Body Politic

Milwaukee Film Festival

Following Brandon Scott, Baltimore’s idealistic young mayor on the campaign trail and through his first year in office, THE BODY POLITIC is a portrait of idealism in action, as we see Scott put his personal and political future on the line to save his beloved city from chronic violence. For those of us living in similarly fractured yet resilient cities, Scott's story is one of audacious hope for what sometimes seems like impossible healing.

- Following the 4/12 screening there will be a Q&A with Gabriel Francis Paz Goodenough (director), Erricka Bridgeford
