Olympic Dreams

In the tradition of Bull Durham, which deftly combined sports movie and rom-com, comes a film that really sets the scene. Taking place at the 2018 Winter Olympics (and with many real athletes making cameos), Olympic Dreams tells the story of a cross-country skier (Alexi Pappas) falling in love with an Olympic Village doctor (Nick Kroll). What ensues is a funny, heartfelt, unique look at how the international values of the Olympics can foster meaningful human connection.

"Jeremy Teicher's offbeat charmer is an artful mix of documentary-style realism and wistful romanticism." - Variety

"A raw depiction of emotional intimacy between two people who are both slightly neurotic in different ways, but nevertheless want big things out of life." - Hollywood Reporter

"You realize that in pairing an athlete's mentality with an artist's imagination, the filmmakers behind OLYMPIC DREAMS articulate a truly beautiful way of looking at the world, all the more so in pulling the curtain back on parts of it we've never seen." - Moveable Fest
