Details: Ava Duvernay's Netflix miniseries When They See Us was written and edited by Milwaukee natives Michael Starrbury and Terilyn Shropshire, respectively. The local products return to their hometown to talk with moderator Amanda Porterfield about the Emmy-nominated miniseries based on the experiences of the Central Park Five, and the process of creating art from real-life phenomena.
