Panelists: Marcelia Nicholson (first Black woman and Latina elected as Chairwoman of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors), Medhin Tewolde (director of HHM film Negra), and Edson Jean (director of HHM title Ludi). 

We invite you to join us for a virtual panel discussion surrounding the Afro-Latinx experience and representation in the entertainment industry. From topics like whitewashing in the media to Latinidad, this candid conversation featuring Hispanic leaders in the Milwaukee Community and Latinx filmmakers will spark engaging dialogue surrounding art and lived experiences.
