As we have seen over the course of the last year, film was hit HARD by the pandemic. Particularly feature fiction films. In an attempt to fill some of these needs, Milwaukee Film is hosting a pitch contest during the festival. With an external jury of film industry hard-hitters, John Axford serving as our MC for the event -- he knows a little something about pitching! -- and $10,000 to give away, this event promises to be a good time for all.
Interested participants should fill out the application below. This contest is for local, feature, fiction films at any stage of development. Pitches are welcome to use clips, trailers, images, or other media to present their film concept. Contestants will be notified of their participation by end of day Wednesday, May 5 with pitches presented live on Saturday, May 15 at 4pm CST.
