Day One

1 Hr. 33 Min.

2018
Screening format: DCP

Follow a group of refugee teens from war-torn regions in the Middle East and Africa on their bewildering journey toward something approaching normalcy in the American Midwest. As they learn to live with their traumatic pasts through an incredible program of healing, intervention, and education from an impassioned group of St. Louis educators, Day One reminds us what we're capable of when we embace and help refugees instead of turning our backs.
