Ferguson Rises

CCF2021

Before the names George Floyd and Breonna Taylor became ubiquitous and the Black Lives Matter movement forced a national reckoning, there was Michael Brown Jr. and the city of Ferguson, Missouri. The killing of this unarmed 18-year-old boy led to nationwide anger, frustration, and protest. Now six years later, Ferguson can tell a new story - one of community, hope, and inspiration. FERGUSON RISES is a humane and moving portrait of a city scarred by its past moving defiantly into the future.
