MKE Film Festival

In the aftermath of a brutal gangland execution, Antonio loots the departed's home in broad daylight. Despite this brazen act, Antonio's seven-year-old son, Luis, continues to look up to his father. When Antonio decides to sell his ill-gotten gains, Luis accompanies him on an unforgettable journey, where self-discovery and unwelcome lessons in humility will unfold in unforgiving clarity. Filmmaker Diana Cardozo's powerful drama expertly deconstructs ideas of violence and toxic masculinity in Mexican culture.
