In case you missed it, Tap Milwaukee teamed up with Milwaukee Film to provide a truly red carpet-worthy sweepstakes, appropriately named the "Tap Milwaukee Film Festival Sweepstakes." What would this sweepstakes winner win?

• Two all-access VIP Film Festival passes to all screenings and the opening night party

• Valet parking on opening night at the movie and party

• a $500 Whole Foods gift card

• a $250 Bartolotta gift card

• Grolsch Beer for a Year

• a Hotel Metro Getaway

• a $250 Neroli Gift Card

There were also 20 runners up who received a pair of tickets for any screening at the festival. But that grandest of grand prizes up there could only go to one lucky winner. Her name? Sarah Sterling. 

I asked Sarah—a life-long Wisconsinite and current Milwaukee resident—how excited she was to win. Sarah's response?

"I think the words I used when Jonathan Jackson called to tell me I won were 'SO STOKED.' This is a totally amazing prize package and we have been able to take advantage of it already by going to see some of the movies and attending the opening night gala. So far, I've seen V/H/S and Last Day at Lambeau. Both of them were enjoyable, but for very different reasons! I also plan to attend The Milwaukee Show tomorrow and a see a few more films over the weekend. My goal is to see nine movies over the course of the film festival. I usually go to about two, so that is definitely an uptick courtesy of the passes."
