As you know, our festival is less than a month away.  A festival full to the gills with amazing films.  Well, here's one from this year's line-up that you can scratch off your list!

Your Members Screening/festival sneak peek is... The Ambassador.

In this unbelieveable act of gonzo journalism, Sundance Grand Prize winner Mads Brügger (The Red Chapel, MFF 2010) sneaks hidden cameras into the Central African Republic's underworld of political corruption.  By adopting the persona of an international businessman - complete with power suit and sunglasses - he tracks diamond smugglers through a dangerous maze of murders and bribery schemes, jabbing even the scariest characters with his absurdly funny barbs.

"Imagine the heart of gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson beating within the body of comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, and you'll have a sense of Danish documentarian Mads Brügger.' - Los Angeles Times

The screening takes place on Wednesday, September 12 at 7pm at the Landmark Oriental Theatre.  Members RSVP now at membership@milwaukee-film.org.  Space is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Reservation closes on Monday, September 10.  (If you do not receive a reply to your RSVP, please call Kristopher at 414-755-1965 x204).

Please note:  October 3rd is the MFF Super Secret Members Only screening.  Keep this in mind when you're choosing your festival films.  We'll send out an RSVP request for this in the next couple of weeks.
