We hope by now, Milwaukee, you know how much we love you. Every morning, we celebrate your glorious architecture. Every week, we shower love on your hard-working community and cultural organizations. And every year, when it comes time to create our festival campaign art, we want to do right by you.
Because 2013 marks the Milwaukee Film Festival's fifth anniversary, we wanted to do something a little extra-special. So instead of working with just one of our city's talented artists, we decided to collaborate with two (see cute photo above). Our long-standing designer, Cathy B. of Lone Shoe Graphics paired up with our very own Kristopher Pollard (also known as Kpolly) to create some magic that we are thrilled to share with you.
As the Marketing Director here at Milwaukee Film, I could not be more humbled to work with these two incredible artists, who put so much love into their work. I can't imagine a better team to work with on this project (Hey Milwaukee, hire them!). I would also like to thank two staff members for their contributions: Milan Zori, our Marketing Coordinator, for all his crazy and not-so-crazy ideas along the way, and Jonathan Jackson, our Artistic & Executive Director, for his steadfast belief in the importance of paying artists for their work.
