Marriage Story

NOTE: Both 10/29 & 10/31 showings of Marriage Story are premium screenings - 6-pack/10-pack/vouchers cannot be redeemed for these screenings!

Celebrated indie auteur Noah Baumbach (Frances Ha, The Squid and the Whale) mines the emotional depths of his personal life for this semi-autobiographical story of a New York playwright and a Hollywood actress going through a perilous divorce. Both characters are written with an honest, delicate empathy and understanding that is disarming to watch. Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson are receiving loud Oscar buzz for their powerful, heart-wrenching lead performances, while Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta round out the tremendous cast.

"This is hilarious, heartbreaking cinema - a work that will make you burst out laughing one moment, and leave you tearing your hair out the next."
- Globe and Mail

"This is a film, a deeply thoughtful and empathetic one, about how difficult it is-logistically, on top of all the messy feelings-to end a marriage."
- AV Club

"The joys, grace notes and riches of Baumbach's latest are endless."
